Responsibilities Lead and supervise the banquet kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Plan, develop, and execute menus tailored to various event types, ensuring variety and quality. Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation for all banquet functions, maintaining consistency and excellence. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations. Coordinate with event planners and service staff to ensure seamless execution of banquet services. Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and oversee training programs to enhance team performance. Qualifications Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering services. Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting, demonstrating effective team management skills. Extensive culinary experience including fine dining, food handling, menu planning, and kitchen management. Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and dietary department standards. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and maintaining high standards of food quality. Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on catering or event services preferred. Strong cooking skills complemented by expertise in food service management, inventory control, and shift management.
