We are looking to bring on a cook assist our production in the Garde Manger department. This job will be located in Latham, inside our commissary kitchen. • Adhering to standards set by the Garde Manger Leads, Commissary Chef, and Chef de Cuisine
• Following recipes for bulk salad production (when needed)
• Assisting Cold Packaging department as needed
• Executing catering orders with guidance
• Cutting and portioning cakes for display cases
• Assisting other GM members with cater production Qualifications
• Ability to multitask
• Basic Knife Skills
• Usage of Stoves, Ovens, Slicers and other relative kitchen equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Prior experience with quantitative cooking is not required but preferred
