Job Description
We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new stores, along with an exciting new opportunity at our Burger Bar! We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Burger Bar Chef to lead operations and bring creativity, quality, and exceptional flavor to this new concept. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a key role in building an exciting dining experience for our customers. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for crafting and cooking top-quality burgers and menu items, while ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and speed. We're looking for someone with creativity, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering delicious food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, season, and cook burgers and other grill items according to standardized recipes. Maintain quality control for every dish served, ensuring consistency and timely delivery. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies, including fresh ingredients and condiments. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Assist in creating new burger recipes and menu items based on trends and customer preferences. Handle grill and kitchen equipment with care, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Previous experience as a grill cook, line cook, or burger chef Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not required We offer a well-rounded benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, 50% off in-store lunch, 25% off in-store shopping, and much more! Working Conditions Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. May require lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance. Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard. There could be exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers. There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents, sharp objects/industrial equipment necessary to perform job duties and functions.Benefits
