Job Description
Overview Experienced Chef needed evening and weekends. Must have servsafe, must be reliable. Seasonal Position We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, with experience in fine dining and catering. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties Manange effective team collaboration and communication. Oversee food production processes to maintain quality standards in all dishes served. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Supervise food preparation and cooking techniques to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Conduct training sessions for staff on food handling, safety practices, and cooking techniques. Assist with private party and catering events as needed. Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow. Experience Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining establishments or high-volume catering services is preferred. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing team dynamics effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients. Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development.
