Responsibilities Assist in preparing and executing a variety of menu items with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise food production activities, maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Lead and mentor kitchen staff during shifts, fostering teamwork, motivation, and professional development. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Coordinate with the culinary team to plan menus that meet dietary requirements and guest preferences while adhering to health regulations. Oversee food handling procedures during service times to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed. Support catering events and banquet functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently without compromising quality. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end hospitality environments with a focus on food presentation and quality. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a kitchen setting. Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and inventory management techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team under pressure. Experience in banquet service, catering, or large-scale food production is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction.
