Pastry Chef at a Boutique Bakery in Akron, Ohio We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a boutique bakery in Akron, Ohio. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all baked goods, desserts, and pastries. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Create and oversee the production of a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries
• Develop new menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation
• Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
• Train and supervise other pastry staff members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Creative flair for developing new recipes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting
