What you will have an opportunity to do: Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at Cleveland Marriott East. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu development, food quality, team leadership, cost management, and compliance with brand and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including restaurant, banquet, and catering services Design and execute creative, high-quality menus aligned with Marriott brand standards and local market trends Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control across all outlets Recruit, train, develop, and mentor culinary team members Manage food and labor costs to meet or exceed budget targets Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Collaborate with Sales and Event teams to execute successful meetings, events, and group functions Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and purchasing Drive continuous improvement through innovation, guest feedback, and operational efficiencies Qualifications 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or full-service restaurant Strong background in banquet and catering operations preferred Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred or required upon hire) Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred What We Offer Competitive salary + performance incentives Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k) Marriott travel discounts worldwide Career growth opportunities within a global hospitality brand Supportive team culture and leadership environment #IND200 #ZR150 What are we looking for?Compensation:
