Pastry Chef D'oro - 4.0 Blue Ash, OH Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Bakery Food production ServSafe Pastry chef experience Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description D'Oro is the newest restaurant from Tres Noches Hospitality, the team behind Alfio's Buon Cibo and Noche. Opening this fall in Blue Ash, D'Oro will be a high-volume, upscale Argentine-Italian restaurant featuring a morning coffee and pastry program, lunch, dinner, patio dining, and a polished beverage experience. We are seeking a Pastry Chef to help build and execute our pastry and baked goods program from the ground up. This position will begin with training and development alongside our culinary team before transitioning into D'Oro as we prepare for opening. If you are passionate about baking, organization, consistency, and creating products that guests look forward to every morning, we'd love to meet you. Position Overview The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing and maintaining all pastry, baked goods, desserts, and coffee program support items while ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met daily. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship while also understanding the demands of a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Prepare daily pastries, baked goods, and dessert items according to recipes and standards Support production for the morning coffee and grab-and-go program Assist with dessert preparation for lunch and dinner service Maintain product consistency, quality, and presentation Execute production schedules and prep lists efficiently Monitor product freshness and inventory levels Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment Assist with ordering and receiving pastry ingredients as needed Support seasonal menu development and new pastry offerings Follow all health department and food safety standards Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership and culinary team members What We're Looking For Previous pastry, baking, or dessert production experience preferred Experience in restaurants, bakeries, cafés, hotels, country clubs, or similar hospitality environments Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking fundamentals, and dessert production Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and maintain production schedules Attention to detail and pride in presentation Ability to lift and move products and supplies as needed Positive attitude and strong work ethic Experience with Italian, Argentine, or European-style pastries is a plus What Success Looks Like Success at D'Oro means creating products that guests look forward to returning for.
