We are seeking an energetic food service professional, with five or more years' experience in quantity foods preparation and cooking. Prior experience with preparing special diets and allergen free meals is desired. Must be a hands-on leader in the kitchen, willing to interact with the guests out front. Position overview:

Work under the direction of the Executive Chef Knowledge and experience preparing allergen free meals College/University food preparation experience preferred. Will consider High Volume Buffet Restaurant or large catering company experience Oversee the completion of all daily prep work and cooking for the lunch and dinner allergen station. Responsible for managing food cost to budget Must lead and train kitchen staff to achieve results desired Batch cooking of quantity foods skills essential Ensure all safe-food handling standards from receiving to serving are followed-HACCP experience desired All food leaving kitchen must meet company Minimum Presentation Standards Must demonstrate skills and knowledge at a culinary audition Must pass background check Example schedule is 10:00am - 8:30pm Sunday -Thursday.
