Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sous Chef and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key leader in the kitchen, you will oversee food preparation, manage daily kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient workflow Lead food production efforts, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with all health regulations Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs Support menu planning and development, incorporating creative ideas while adhering to dietary restrictions and client preferences Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on professional growth Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes in high-pressure situations Implement food handling protocols and ensure all team members follow proper food safety practices Assist in managing food service operations during busy periods, including fine dining service and large-scale events Qualifications Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision with a focus on fine dining or catering environments Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams of cooks and kitchen staff Strong background in food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control measures Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and food presentation standards Experience with banquet service, catering events, or large-scale food service operations is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively Familiarity with dietary department requirements and accommodating special dietary needs is a plus Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your passion for food meets your leadership talents.
