Job Description

SkyBlue Healthcare is a growing nursing home company serving facilities across Oklahoma. We're a close-knit, intimate team that takes pride in the quality of care—and the quality of food—we provide to our residents. As we continue to expand throughout the state, we're looking for an experienced culinary and dietary leader to help elevate our dining programs. The Role We're seeking an Executive Chef to take an active, hands-on leadership role across our facilities. This is not a single-kitchen position—you'll be traveling statewide to support, teach, and develop our dietary teams. You'll work directly with facility Dietary Managers to improve food quality and taste, strengthen team leadership, and drive better outcomes for both our residents and our staff. What You'll Do Travel across Oklahoma to support multiple facilities and their dietary teams Coach and mentor Dietary Managers, helping them lead their teams more effectively Improve overall food quality and taste throughout our facilities Drive staff engagement and improve retention within dietary departments Manage and optimize per-patient-day (PPD) food spending—maximizing quality for every dollar spent Establish and teach best practices in kitchen operations, menu execution, and food service standards Oversee PCC documentation, state survey readiness, and dietary compliance. What We're Looking For Multiple years of experience as a facility Dietary Manager (long-term care or healthcare setting strongly preferred) A proven track record of job stability —we value candidates who have demonstrated commitment and longevity in their past roles. Applicants with a pattern of short tenures will not be considered. Strong leadership and teaching ability—you genuinely enjoy developing teams Solid understanding of food cost management and PPD budgeting Willingness and ability to travel throughout Oklahoma Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is a plus, but not required Why Join SkyBlue You'll be part of a tight-knit, supportive team during an exciting period of growth. We're looking for someone who wants to make a real, lasting impact—on our residents' daily lives, on our teams, and on the future of our company in Oklahoma.
