Uphold strict food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests. Assist with menu planning, portion control, and cost management to support overall restaurant or catering profitability. Oversee food handling, storage, and preparation activities in compliance with health regulations and dietary requirements. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and special events such as banquets or catering functions. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments; banquet experience is a plus. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and kitchen management practices. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food industry standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams of culinary professionals. Knowledge of menu planning, catering operations, and food service management principles.
