  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Event Chef for Venue to elevate our culinary offerings and ensure unforgettable dining experiences at our event spaces.
As the leader of our culinary team, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service for a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale banquets. Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and kitchen management will drive excellence in food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary creativity while leading a talented team in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Duties Lead and supervise the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes that meet event specifications and uphold brand standards Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that caters to dietary restrictions and client preferences Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Coordinate with event planners and service staff to ensure seamless food service delivery and timely execution Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations Supervise food production processes, from prep work to final plating, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, safety procedures, and customer service best practices Experience Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in catering or large-scale event food service Proven supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality environment Strong knowledge of dietary accommodations and special menu planning for diverse guest needs Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Experience in fine dining settings or upscale restaurant environments preferred Skilled in inventory management, food handling, and kitchen operations management Culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe certification is highly desirable Background in management is advantageous We hire people
