Job Description
Experienced Cook / Chef
- $25•30/hr•Friday & Saturday Evenings Bonsall Farms | Hunlock Creek, PA $25•30/hour, depending on experience Part-time | Seasonal | Friday & Saturday evenings Bonsall Farms is seeking an experienced cook or chef to execute our reservation-only, outdoor prix fixe dinner service for the remainder of our season (approximately 2 months).
What You'll Do Execute established 3
- and 5-course prix fixe menus Cook, finish and plate dishes quickly and consistently Manage the timing and flow of courses Coordinate with a small waitstaff Maintain excellent food quality and presentation Keep the kitchen clean, organized and food-safe Adapt quickly and confidently when circumstances change during service What Makes This Different Most ingredients and components are prepped ahead of service Small, reservation-only dinner services — not a traditional high-volume restaurant Seasonal menus featuring farm-raised and locally sourced ingredients Significant independence and autonomy in the kitchen Friday and Saturday evenings only Approximately 2 months remaining in our 2026 season What We're Looking For Strong cooking and kitchen skills Prior professional kitchen experience strongly preferred Able to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent sense of timing and organization Comfortable thinking on your feet and adapting quickly Reliable, efficient and calm under pressure Comfortable executing established recipes and presentation standards This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restaurant, catering or banquet cook looking for well-paid weekend work in a small, unique setting without taking on another full-time restaurant schedule.
Pay:
$25
