Job Description

Offering distinguished spirits and curated wines from around the globe, Proof of Lancaster is a world class lounge located in the heart of Downtown Lancaster. Under the Ecklin umbrella of businesses, this new venture will offer shareable small plates in addition to carefully crafted drinks in an intimate, urban setting. The Proof Line Chef will work with the Head Chef to ensure an efficient and smooth kitchen operation. This role will prepare predetermined dishes, in accordance with agreed upon recipes and plating instructions. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping an extremely clean kitchen and workspace as well as keeping stations fully stocked. They will be a strong team player, will have good communication skills, and a desire to learn kitchen operations in a small environment.
Responsibilities:
Stock and prep kitchen for service Take direction and feedback from Head Chef Prepare food based on Head Chefs instructions Assist with dishwashing Coordinate with FOH to ensure orders are processed efficiently Excel working with a small crew Maintain an exceptionally clean work space and appearance
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years kitchen experience Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A passion for quality, consistency, and learning ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
