Position Overview:

Bean and Rose Corp is seeking a skilled, adaptable, and execution-focused Hospitality Chef to lead culinary operations across our catering and private chef experiences. This role is central to delivering high-quality food across a wide range of environments—from our Longmont kitchen to offsite event venues and private residences. This position will begin as part-time due to the seasonal nature of events and weddings, with a clear path to full-time hours during peak months.

Key Responsibilities:

Event & Catering Execution

• ​Execute catering menus for weddings, corporate events, and private functions
• ​Prepare food both in our Longmont commissary kitchen and onsite at venues
• ​Ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality food output across all events
• ​Oversee setup, service flow, and breakdown for catering operations ​Private Chef Services
• ​Lead private chef experiences in homes, offices, and event spaces
• ​Prepare and present meals tailored to client preferences and event requirements
• ​Manage assistants during private chef jobs to ensure smooth execution and elevated service Kitchen Leadership & Team Management
• ​Supervise and direct assistant kitchen staff during prep and service
• ​Delegate tasks effectively to maintain efficiency and quality standards
• Ensure all food reflects company menus, brand standards, and presentation guidelines Operational Excellence
• ​Maintainan cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards (ServSafe or equivalent preferred)
• ​Assist with prep planning, inventory awareness, and kitchen readiness for events
• ​Adapt quickly to changing environments, timelines, and event-specific needs Transportation & Logistics
• ​Travel to event sites across Northern Colorado (up to ~100-mile radius)
• ​Provide personal transportation for smaller events
• ​Operate company commercial vehicles for larger events when applicable Qualifications
• +2 years of experience in catering, events, or high-volume kitchen environments
• Experience working as a private chef or in offsite catering strongly preferred
• ​Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams under pressure
• ​Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments
• ​Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work long hours during event days

Compensation & Growth Starting Pay:

$25/hour
