Private Events (On-Call / Immediate Opportunity) Looking for an experienced sushi chef for upscale private dining events.

Event Overview:

Small, high-end gatherings (typically 6-12 guests) featuring a sushi-focused dining experience with a mix of specialty rolls, nigiri, and light sashimi.

Requirements:

Strong sushi experience (restaurant or private events) Clean, precise knife skills and presentation Must provide your own knives/tools and be comfortable working on-site Experience sourcing high-quality fish within a set budget Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation

Preferences:

Ability to work with dietary requests (no shellfish, kosher-style friendly events, etc.) Professional, reliable, and able to execute efficiently in private home settings

Responsibilities:

Ingredient sourcing (within a defined budget) On-site prep and execution Clean setup and full breakdown

Compensation:

$600-$750 per event (based on experience and scope)
