Executive Chef Location:
East Greenwich, Rhode Island Company:
Graze on Main About Graze on
Main:
Graze on Main is a charming wine bar and restaurant nestled in one of East Greenwich's oldest buildings, constructed in 1770. Located in the lower level of the building, Graze on Main provides a European-like wine cellar experience. Specializing in curated meat and artisanal cheeses, we pride ourselves on creating "edible art" that encourages our guests to connect over unique and flavorful offerings. Our wine menu boasts 100+ labels of small production, organic, sustainable, and/or biodynamic wines, showcasing the true essence of each grape varietal. Graze on Main was established in 2020, at a time when the entire business was structured with "charcuterie to-go" in mind. While we still provide many charcuterie boards for off-site gatherings and events, Graze has since expanded to include on-site dining and with such, the menu offerings continue to evolve. Executive Chef - Graze on Main Graze on Main isn't just about food and wine- it's about creating experiences. We're looking for an Executive Chef who can transport our guests to wine-regions near and far, bursting with bold flavors, seasonal creativity, and a little bit of magic. Someone who loves pairing food with a great glass of wine, gets inspired by what's fresh and local and of course, someone who passionately incorporates the beauty of wine, regional terroir, culture, history, and culinary creativity into the ultimate tasting experience. This role isn't just about running the line — it's about leading a team, building a menu that makes people crave their next visit, and bringing Graze on Main's food story to life. What You'll Do Dream up seasonal menus that pair beautifully with our wines and keep our guests excited to see what's next. Lead, inspire, and mentor the kitchen crew — keeping things running smooth, sharp, and fun. Make sure every plate that leaves the pass looks (and tastes) amazing. Keep the kitchen humming — from ordering and inventory to costs and margins. Collaborate with our team on wine dinners, events, and creative pairings. Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen that passes any health check with flying colors. Who You Are An experienced chef with a passion for seasonally inspired, wine-friendly cuisine. A natural leader who can motivate, teach, and build a strong team culture, with at least 3 years of management experience. Creative, curious, and always looking for ways to wow guests. Business savvy enough to balance artistry with numbers. Cool under pressure (because dinner rush waits for no one). Excited to be part of a restaurant that's all about community, connection and experience. What We Offer A chance to put your culinary stamp on a 5 year old (and still growing!) wine-driven restaurant. A team that values creativity, collaboration, and having fun while working hard. The joy of seeing your dishes paired with incredible wines (and happy guests).
