This role focuses on preparing consistent, high-quality pastries, baked goods, and desserts to meet daily service demands. This position assists with recipe development and creating seasonal menu items for both the restaurant and coffee shop, and works closely with the chef team on product development and execution. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and experienced in batch production while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities Produce a variety of pastries, baked goods, breads, and desserts in batches for daily restaurant service and coffee shop offerings Follow standardized recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and timely availability of products Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings with accuracy and efficiency Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout the production process Restock and replenish coffee shop pastry displays and back-of-house inventory as needed, and adjusting inventory and production levels accordingly Maintain organization and cleanliness of the pastry station, storage areas, and equipment Properly label, date, and store all products in accordance with food safety guidelines Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to anticipate demand during peak meal periods May be asked to assist in other kitchen departments during peak or slow time periods Collaborate with Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine on menu items and their development and execution across multiple outlets Experience Previous experience in a high-volume bakery, café, or restaurant pastry production role preferred Strong knowledge of baking fundamentals, scaling recipes, and batch production techniques Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet production deadlines High attention to detail and consistency in product quality Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required Team-oriented with effective communication skills Culinary or pastry training/certification is a plus Join us as a Pastry Chef where your creativity meets craftsmanship!
