We are seeking a hands-on Chef/Operator to lead this new, high-quality pizzeria concept focused on serving Brooklyn-style pies in a welcoming neighborhood experience that "blends the nostalgia of a traditional pizza parlor with polish" (Press Release, The Post & Courier ). This role will lead, combining culinary leadership for BOH and some operational ownership storewide. Looking to meet immediate hiring needs for this role, and this Chef will play a role in planning and launch. Qualifications 4+ years of kitchen leadership experience Preferential background in pizza, dough, or bread-making (not a deal breaker) Be tenacious about the details and consistency of a food brand Proven ability to manage food and labor costs Hands-on leader who can assist in managing daily operations Passion for hospitality What You'll Do Lead all kitchen operations, including dough production, sauce and topping prep, and service Obtain the opportunity to receive hands-on training by culinary experts who have mastered the science of dough making to ensure consistent, high-quality pizzas and other menu items Manage daily operations: inventory, food/labor costs, scheduling Work with top-of-the-line equipment that meets the standards of some of the most popular pizzerias in N.Y. Train, coach, and develop team members Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
