Pay:
$35,000 - 65,000 annually Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Assistant Curry Chef with hands-on experience in traditional and modern Indian cooking. This role works closely with the Head Chef to execute menu items with precision, maintain kitchen standards, and support a disciplined, high-performing kitchen environment. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in consistency, efficiency, and is interested in growing with a scaling brand. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes including naan, tandoori items, curries, and chutneys with consistency and attention to detail Support daily kitchen operations in a high-volume, fast-casual environment Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet established standards Maintain strong pace and organization during peak service times Assist in training staff on recipes, execution, and assembly line processes Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times Support kitchen leadership and step in as needed to maintain smooth operations Qualifications Proven experience in Curry Indian cuisine (restaurant or catering) Strong working knowledge of spices, cooking techniques, and traditional preparation methods Ability to consistently execute standardized recipes in a fast-paced environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain performance under pressure Team-oriented with clear communication and professionalism Interest in long-term growth within the company Food safety certification preferred What We Offer Housing accommodations Competitive compensation with profit-sharing program for long-term commitment Opportunity to contribute to menu execution and kitchen operations for a growing brand Supportive team environment and career growth opportunities Benefits Medical Insurance, Dental, RX, short-term and long-term disability 401k with
