Gina's Stonefired Italian & Pizzeria in Franklin, TN is looking for a pizza chef apprentice to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, reliable, and thrives under pressure. What we offer A fun, friendly, and close-knit small-business environment with an engaged owner Ability to showcase your skills, while performing in the front of the house We want you to understand just how amazing our food is, so we offer a complementary meal with every shift A 25% Employee Family discount, when you dine-in/carry-out with your family We prefer to grow our own people into other roles, and will support your desire to do so Responsibilities The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn the art of pizza-making directly under the supervision of our resident pizza expert You will be an artisan, preparing Franklin's best pizza, and baking it carefully, in a massive stone oven Greeting guests, taking phone orders, customer service, POS transactions, properly training part-time employees, proper food handling procedures, cleaning, sweeping Other duties, as needed All of the above at the same time Qualifications A strong desire to learn the craft of making Franklin's best pizza Professional customer service experience (minimum 1 year) Ability to multi-task to ensure a perfectly prepared product Excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming personality This is a family business (when you work here, you are family). You MUST be a team-player, who puts the needs of others before your own. Ability to stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, and lift 50 lbs without issue We are looking forward to meeting you.
