Responsibilities Prepare diverse menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Manage food production for large-scale events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food processors Execute food safety sanitizing procedures consistently to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for upcoming events Handle food with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and proper food handling techniques Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals that meet dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines Maintain high-volume production standards while ensuring consistency across all dishes served Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and service during busy periods Uphold food safety management practices and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times Experience Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is highly desirable Proven food service experience in fast-paced restaurant or catering environments Fine dining experience or high-volume kitchen background preferred Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling protocols Skilled in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining quality standards Culinary experience with an emphasis on food production, recipe adherence, and meal prep management Familiarity with catering operations or large-scale event cooking is a plus Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry best practices for safe food handling Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a lively environment where your skills will make a real impact!
