Job Description
The Dirdie Birdie is a new standout destination on Fort Worth s 7th Street district, featuring a polished bar and restaurant experience with an immersive indoor mini golf course creating a high-energy, social destination for dining, drinks, and entertainment. Set to open in June, this role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up. We re seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, maintain standards, deliver a consistent, high-level guest experience in one of the city s most active corridors.
What You'll DoLead daily kitchen operations with a strong, visible presence on the lineHire, train, and develop a reliable, well-prepared BOH teamDrive a culture of accountability, organization, and consistencyOversee prep, execution, and service flow to maintain strong ticket timesEnsure all food is executed consistently, accurately, and to standardMaintain and uphold established recipes, systems, and proceduresManage inventory, ordering, and product usage with minimal wasteMaintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kitchen at all timesOwn kitchen financial performance, including food cost and labor
The 7th Street environment requires someone who can stay composed under pressure, keep the kitchen running clean and tight, and ensure the team is prepared to perform at a high level at all times.
