Job Summary We're seeking an inspiring, hands-on Assistant Director / Chef to support the culinary experience for a program serving 2,800+ students across six schools in Gainesville ISD, TX. This role is ideal for a creative culinarian who enjoys being active in the kitchen while partnering closely with our Director of Dining Services, who is also a chef. You'll report directly to the Director and have the opportunity to learn and grow by working alongside them day-to-day, while taking the lead on key culinary initiatives, supporting a team of 32 associates, and helping execute approximately 6-7 catering events each month. This opportunity also offers an excellent work-life balance, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with only very limited needs outside those hours based on the business. If you're passionate about great food, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on students, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and contribute.
