Your expertise in sushi preparation, knife skills, and ingredient selection will elevate our dining experience. Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and artistry Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in compliance with health and safety standards Select fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage to uphold quality and freshness Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours Educate guests about different types of sushi and ingredients to enhance their dining experience Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and rotating stock effectively Follow all food safety protocols, including First Aid, CPR, and other emergency procedures as required Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knife skills with the ability to prepare delicate fish and seafood efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, including First Aid and CPR certification preferred Experience teaching or training others in culinary techniques is a plus Familiarity with online training platforms for continuous learning and skill development Ability to work with diverse teams, including working with students or trainees in culinary settings Technical proficiency with productivity software for inventory tracking and scheduling purposes Join us to bring your sushi-making talents to life in a dynamic environment where creativity meets excellence!
