Full-Time / Part-Time Job Overview We are looking for skilled, dependable, and fast-paced Sushi Chefs to join the opening team of a brand-new drive-thru sushi concept in Rowlett, TX. This is not your traditional sit-down sushi restaurant. Our concept is built around freshly made sushi, speed, consistency, and convenience. We will operate in a high-volume, quick-service environment with a streamlined menu and organized production system. The ideal candidate has sushi-making experience, works efficiently under pressure, and understands that every roll should look and taste consistent—even during a busy rush. What You'll Do Prepare sushi rolls and other menu items quickly and accurately Prep fish, vegetables, sauces, rice, and other ingredients Follow standardized recipes, portions, and presentation guidelines Maintain excellent quality while meeting fast ticket times Properly handle and store raw seafood and other ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sushi station Follow food-safety, sanitation, temperature-control, and cross-contamination procedures Monitor product freshness and minimize food waste Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Work closely with other kitchen team members during high-volume periods Learn multiple stations and assist where needed What We're Looking For Previous sushi-making experience preferred Strong sushi rolling and knife skills Comfortable working with raw fish and seafood Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Able to follow recipes and portion standards consistently Comfortable working in a fast-paced quick-service kitchen Willing to learn our specific recipes and operating system Food Handler certification or ability to obtain one We're Especially Interested in People Who Are
