Salary:
$75,000 - $80,000 + Admin Pay Full-Time | Benefits Included We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to support culinary operations within a high-end conference center and café environment. This role supports a $3M food & beverage operation , including conference dining, catering, executive meetings, and café service. This is a professional, structured environment with a focus on food quality, consistency, and client satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing Support the Executive Chef in daily culinary operations Execute high-quality catering and conference events Assist with menu development and seasonal updates Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency standards Manage production, prep, and service execution Assist with food cost control, inventory, and ordering Train and coach line-level culinary staff Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Support executive and VIP dining events What We're Looking For 3+ years of Sous Chef or strong kitchen leadership experience Experience in: High-volume catering or banquet operations Conference centers, hotels, or upscale contract dining Ability to execute events with precision and consistency Strong organizational and communication skills Hands-on leadership style and team development mindset Professional appearance and demeanor Flexible schedule (event-driven environment) ServSafe certification preferred Compensation & Benefits $75K - $80K base salary (based on experience) Additional admin pay Full benefits package (health, dental, vision) 401(k) PTO and sick time Stable, long-term account Schedule Primarily Monday-Friday Event-based flexibility required (occasional evenings/weekends) Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for a Sous Chef who: Thrives in structured, professional environments Has strong banquet or catering experience Is detail-oriented and consistent in execution Enjoys working with a team and developing others Takes pride in delivering high-quality food for clients and guests
