In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Duties Support the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely service across all dining areas. Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining cost controls and inventory management. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient food handling practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service delivery. Lead by example in fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate diverse culinary teams. Extensive banquet experience along with expertise in catering services. Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments is highly desirable. Strong skills in inventory management, food handling, and food safety practices aligned with industry standards. Proficiency in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant operations including food service management. Excellent cooking skills complemented by leadership qualities such as effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
