As a key member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and executing authentic Korean noodle dishes in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on wok experience and a strong foundation in professional kitchen operations — someone who takes pride in consistency, speed, and quality with every dish that goes out. Qualifications Wok cooking experience strongly preferred; candidates with high-heat, stir-fry, or Asian cuisine backgrounds are especially encouraged Must have previous kitchen or cooking experience in a restaurant setting Ability to follow recipe and work efficiently during high-volume service Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health code standards Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to provide required documentation (e.g., valid Social Security Number) for payroll and tax reporting. Experience with Korean cuisine is a plus, but not required — training provided Duties Prepare and cook menu items to Paik's Noodle standards, with a focus on wok-based dishes and noodle preparation Execute orders with speed and accuracy during peak service hours Maintain proper portioning, seasoning, and presentation for every dish Monitor food quality and freshness; communicate any inventory concerns to kitchen management Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines at all times Keep cooking stations and kitchen areas clean and organized throughout the shift Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Food provided Paid training
