Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that align with brand standards and guest preferences. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage and mentor culinary staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on growth, teamwork, and high performance. Oversee inventory management and control procedures to minimize waste while maintaining adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision planning and flawless execution. Monitor food costs, labor costs, and overall departmental budgets to optimize profitability without compromising quality. Implement training programs on food handling, safety protocols, and culinary techniques to enhance staff skills. Collaborate with management on menu planning, seasonal updates, and special promotions to attract diverse clientele. Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Experience Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive background in fine dining cuisine with a strong emphasis on presentation and flavor balance. Demonstrated success managing large teams in fast-paced environments with multiple service outlets such as catering or banquet facilities. Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments for health-conscious or specialized menus. Hands-on experience with food production processes including cooking techniques, menu development, inventory control, and food safety compliance. Prior experience overseeing kitchen operations in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on food management and service excellence. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage shift schedules effectively, and foster a collaborative team culture. Familiarity with kitchen management systems for inventory tracking and cost control is highly desirable.
