The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, leadership, and operational excellence to deliver high-quality banquet cuisine that delights every palate. Duties Plan and develop diverse banquet menus tailored to event themes, guest preferences, and dietary requirements, ensuring a variety of appealing options. Supervise all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. Manage kitchen operations efficiently by overseeing inventory control, food safety protocols, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Lead and supervise culinary staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to foster teamwork and uphold service excellence during busy banquet events. Coordinate with event planners and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food courses and seamless execution of banquet functions. Monitor food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all food service activities. Oversee catering logistics for large-scale events, including setup, breakdown, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared in advance. Skills Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in catering for large groups and special events. Proven supervising experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced environments. Deep knowledge of dietary restrictions, allergy considerations, and special diet accommodations within the food industry. Expertise in food production, menu planning, and fine dining presentation techniques. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high team morale. Excellent inventory management skills to control costs without compromising quality. Proficiency in food safety standards, kitchen management software, and inventory control systems. Experience with kitchen management including cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and restaurant operations. Knowledge of hospitality standards related to food service management, catering logistics, and restaurant experience.
