Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Sushi Chef Helper, where your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating authentic and beautifully crafted sushi dishes. In this energetic role, you will assist the sushi chefs in preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. 11am•8:00pm Duties Assist sushi chefs with food preparation, including: trimming and cutting fish, vegetables, making sushi rice and other ingredients. Make sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Help with inventory management. Team work with kitchen staff. Requirements Good hygiene. Excellent knife skills, able to lift 50 lbs of kitchen inventories. Knowledge of proper food handling and able to obtain a food handler card upon hiring. Basic culinary experience with an emphasis on sushi or Asian cuisine is preferred

hourly rate plus tips

$17.50•$32.00 per hour
