Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, leadership-driven, and experienced culinary professional to join our team as Sous Chef. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard culinary environment. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining the exceptional quality, consistency, and standards that define the Fire dining experience . You will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to lead daily kitchen operations, support menu execution, and ensure every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, inspires and develops their team, and understands the importance of organization, communication, and attention to detail. You should have a strong culinary foundation, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to remain composed and effective in a demanding kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Executive Chef in leading and managing daily kitchen operations. Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation, and execution across all services. Leading and motivating the culinary team while fostering a positive, professional kitchen culture. Assisting with training, coaching, and development of culinary staff. Ensuring proper food preparation, sanitation, food safety, and kitchen organization. Managing prep, line execution, and service to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Monitoring product quality, inventory, and waste while maintaining cost-conscious practices. Helping uphold the standards, culture, and vision that define the Fire dining experience. What we're looking for: Proven experience in a Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership role. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A passion for quality, consistency, and hospitality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to lead from the front. Professionalism, accountability, and a genuine desire to contribute to a strong culinary team.
