Responsibilities Company Overview River Park Hospital is a 165-bed facility dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals across all age groups in both inpatient and residential settings. The hospital is committed to delivering personalized care that respects each individual's unique needs and enhances their quality of life through specialized treatment programs. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Dietary to lead our dietary department with professionalism and expertise. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dietary management within healthcare settings, particularly assisted living environments, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. This role involves overseeing all aspects of nutrition services, ensuring compliance with health standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifications Responsibilities 1. Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the hospital's dietary services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards 100 2. Recruit, retain, develop, and supervise the dietary workers to meet the needs of the facility 100 3. Manage all dietary purchasing programs, including food and beverage, capital purchases,vendor relations, and contracts. Assures expenditures meet budgetary requirements 100 4. serve as catering manager for all special events and internal hospital functions 10 5. Participates as a member of the leadership team in required committees and initiatives including but not limited to performance improvement, environment of care, safety etc 100 9. Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position Skills 1.Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team 2. Understanding of diets and diet modifications to meet ADA nutritional standards 6. Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment, operations, and procedures 3. Ability to inventory and purchase food and supplies to meet daily needs 7. Knowledge of food service accounting to operate within a budget. 4. Understand Menu Development Processes Understand Food Service Production Methods and Techniques. 5. Understanding and the ability to implement of local county and state health departments' regulations and requirements 8. Understand and create emergency food service preparedness plans. 6.
