We are seeking a dedicated Armed Guard - Front Desk Window Customer Service Clerk to join our Manhattan team. This unique role combines security responsibilities with front-line customer service, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional interactions for our valued clients. Job Description As the Armed Guard - Front Desk Window Customer Service Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for clients and provide essential security and customer support. This position is ideal for someone experienced in customer service and security who can handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Client Interaction & Security:
Greet clients, verify identities, enforce security protocols, and ensure secure check-ins at the front desk.Window Clerk Duties:
Process and verify high-value shipments, handle payments, and maintain a secure and organized workspace.Communication & Coordination:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with internal departments.Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records, prepare daily reports, and assist in client appointment scheduling.Customer Service Excellence:
Deliver exceptional service, promptly address issues, and find solutions to improve client experience.Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.Experience:
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in logistics, high-value goods, or security services. Prior experience with front desk systems and cash handling.Required :
Valid New York State Armed Guard Registration Card and NYC Carry Guard License.NYS Security Guard Training:
Completed 8-hour pre-assignment course, 47-hour firearms training, annual 8-hour firearms requalification, and 8-hour in-service training.Preferred:
CPR/First Aid certification.Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a busy environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Personal Attributes:
Professional appearance and demeanor. High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information. Able to work independently and as part of a team.Working Conditions Location:
Office setting in Manhattan, NY, with direct client interaction and security responsibilities.Hours:
Full-time position, with occasional overtime based on business needs.
