Love Keeping Things Moving? We aren't your average office! We're a high-energy dog boarding, grooming, and daycare facility, and we're looking for a Concierge Reservation Specialist & Managerial Support star to help our front desk run smoothly. If you love pups and enjoy a busy schedule, you'll fit right in. The Role This is a long-term, (not a summer job!) +/- 35 hour-per-week position. It's perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks—from helping a client book their pup's vacation to supporting our team on the floor. You'll be the "go-to" person who keeps us organized! You'll train at $18/hr for the first 10 days, then be moved to $22/hr.
The Daily Grind :
The "Morning Pulse": You must be 100% reliable for a 6:45 AM start. If you aren't a morning person, this isn't for you.
The Command Center:
You'll be answering phones, greeting clients, managing a busy reservation book, and keeping the lobby organized.
Reservation Specialist:
You'll be the heart of our booking process. You'll handle scheduling, phones, texts and emails with a friendly touch. We have specific sindustry software.
The Tech:
We are a Mac-based office. You need to be fast on a computer and iPhone-literate for team/client texting. We need someone who picks up software almost instantly.
The Physical Side:
You'll be on your feet moving dogs of all shapes and sizes (some pull!) and must be able to lift 50 lbs. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.
The Vibe:
You have a professional, polished way of speaking. We are looking for someone who can juggle a ringing phone and a lobby full of dogs without breaking a sweat. Be the Face of the
Facility:
Greet pups and parents with a smile, intake dogs, food and medications for our boarding pups, as well as move dogs throughout the facility. You'll get to know our regulars by name, help out with "doggy crafts," and snap photos and videos of our furry guests.
Keep Things Harmonious:
You're the calm in the storm during our busy seasons, making sure everything is efficient so the dogs (and the staff!) stay happy.
Bonus:
If you're good at capturing quick photos/videos of the dogs for our social media, let us know!
The Schedule:
Expect 30-35 hours a week. While we give plenty of notice, our schedule shifts based on demand. Saturdays are a must during our busy seasons.
