We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and service-oriented Operations Support Associate to provide coverage across multiple building operations functions. Position Summary The Operations Support Associate is a versatile part-time position responsible for providing coverage across several operational roles within the cooperative, including Concierge/Front Desk, Doorman, Garage Attendant, and Coordinator assignments. This position plays a critical role in maintaining Shoreham West's high standards of resident service, security, and building operations. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working a variety of shifts and responsibilities in a luxury residential environment. Key Responsibilities Resident Services & Front Desk Operations Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors. Answer telephones, respond to inquiries, and direct requests appropriately. Monitor building access and visitor entry procedures. Receive, log, and distribute resident packages and deliveries. Maintain accurate records and daily operational logs. Assist residents with routine requests and building information. Support resident satisfaction through professional, courteous, and responsive service. Building Operations Support Provide coverage for Concierge/Front Desk, Doorman, Garage Attendant, and Coordinator assignments as needed. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and contractor access. Monitor common areas and report maintenance, safety, security, or operational concerns. Support building operations during evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency staffing situations. Follow established building policies, procedures, and service standards. Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Communication & Problem Solving Communicate professionally with residents, staff, vendors, and management. Respond to routine resident concerns and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Utilize sound judgment to address day-to-day operational issues and escalate matters when appropriate. Assist in resolving service-related concerns while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Support management and staff in maintaining positive resident relations. Additional Responsibilities Demonstrate flexibility in performing a variety of duties across multiple positions and shifts. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management to support resident service and building operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in residential, hospitality, customer service, security, parking, or related environments preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work various shifts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to stand, walk, lift packages, and perform routine physical duties associated with building operations. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Employment Terms Hourly rate of $25.00 per hour This position receives a premium hourly rate in recognition of the flexibility required to support multiple operational roles and varying shifts. Part-time, on-call position. Typical schedules are distributed approximately 30 days in advance.
