Part-Time Night Manager / Doorman

Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Night Manager/Doorman for a well-maintained residential apartment building in Petworth. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, orderly, and welcoming environment for residents during evening and nighttime hours. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is attentive, proactive, and takes ownership of the building during their shift. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage entry and exit of residents, guests, and visitors Act as a visible security presence in the lobby and building entrance Observe and monitor security camera systems Perform routine patrols of hallways, common areas, and exterior perimeter Identify and report suspicious behavior or security concerns promptly Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby and common areas Receive and log deliveries or visitor activity as needed Serve as a point of contact for residents during the shift and escalate issues to management when appropriate Qualifications Prior experience in security, concierge, residential property management, or similar role preferred Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Professional, calm demeanor with solid communication skills Ability to work independently and handle issues as they arise Comfortable working evening/night hours Reliable, punctual, and accountable Position subject to criminal background check.
