Job Description

We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of Front Desk Concierge. As part of the initial first 10 minutes of a guests experience, the Front Desk Concierge are responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with the warm welcome/welcome back, owning each interaction and representing the company as if it is their own. In addition to undertaking various procedural and administrative duties, dealing with and diffusing conflict or tension is also a critical skill we are looking for. The best Front Desk Concierge will have tremendous patience when dealing with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise.

OPL Friends and Family Discount Responsibilities:
Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, travel directions, and local recommendations. Arrange tours, transportation services, and restaurant reservations. Add and maintain approved vendors; ensure commission logs are updated. Greet guests warmly and follow established checkin/checkout procedures. Process payments and post charges accurately to guest accounts. Follow cash handling policies and procedures. Communicate professionally with all departments. Maintain knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and guest activities. Handle incoming calls, guest communication, and reservations courteously and professionally. Assist guests with storing and retrieving luggage. (Placing Hotsos Service orders) Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Complete daily Front Desk checklist. Complete the daily Boat List for all arrivals and departures. Complete status reports for specific guest requests.
Qualifications:
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively. Punctual, reliable, and professional. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
