Full-Time / Pool Position Summary The Front Desk Concierge serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with directions and visitor coordination, and activating hospital emergency overhead codes in accordance with established protocols. The Concierge ensures a welcoming, safe, and organized front lobby environment while supporting hospital communication processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner Provide directions and general hospital information Activate overhead emergency codes promptly and accurately per hospital protocol Maintain awareness of hospital safety procedures and emergency response processes Communicate effectively with nursing units, administration, and security as needed Monitor front lobby activity and report concerns to Security or Administration Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times Assist with basic administrative or communication tasks as assigned Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or emergency situations Clear speaking voice for overhead announcements Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to communicate clearly in person and over phone/intercom Occasional walking throughout hospital campus Work Schedule May include evenings, weekends, and holidays Monday
