Job Description

Guest Experience Coordinator - Boutique Dog Hotel & Events Sit Social | Chicago, IL Sit Social is a 5-star boutique dog hotel, daycare, grooming, and event space in Chicago known for exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming environment for both dogs and their people. We are also home to CuddlePups - Chicago's unique Italian Greyhound cuddle experience, where guests can book ticketed events to spend time with our playful pack of Italian Greyhounds. We are seeking a polished, people-oriented Guest Experience Coordinator (internally called our Human Happiness Coordinator) to help create an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. This role combines hospitality, front desk operations, event hosting, customer experience, light administrative work, social media support, and dog handling in a fun, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Welcome clients and guests with warmth and professionalism Manage front desk operations, reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and customer communication Host our Italian Greyhound cuddle experiences and create a fun, elevated guest experience Take photos/videos and assist with light social media posting Maintain clean, organized, guest-facing spaces Support administrative tasks and team communication Assist with light dog handling and supervision Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility Collaborate closely with teammates and support daily operations What We're Looking For Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reception, events, retail, or administrative roles Warm, confident, polished communication skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Naturally upbeat, welcoming, and professional Comfortable around dogs and light cleaning responsibilities Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills Experience with Gingr, Google Workspace, or booking software is a plus
