The Quincy Kroc Center is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our team as Kroc Attendants. In this part-time role, you'll help ensure the Kroc Center remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for members, guests, and program participants of all ages. As a Kroc Attendant, you are often the first point of contact for members and guests. Your friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism help create an environment where everyone feels welcome and safe.
Position Details Position Type:
Part-time, working up to 19 hours/week
Pay Rate:
$15.00/hour
Schedule:
Weekend availability is required, including coverage for the Rockwall Rockwall hours: Wednesdays 5:00pm-7:00pm, Saturdays 12:00pm-5:00pm Additional weekday and evening shifts may be available based on Center needs Position Overview Kroc Attendants play a vital role in daily Kroc Center operations by assisting members, monitoring activity areas, maintaining safety standards, and supporting events and programs. This role combines customer service, safety oversight, set-up support, and light cleaning duties in a dynamic and people-focused environment. What You'll Do Maintain a safe and secure environment for all members and guests Monitor access points, enforce Kroc Center policies, and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies Provide equipment orientations and ensure proper use of fitness and recreation equipment Deliver friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable customer service
  • greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting as needed Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring spaces are prepared for programs and activities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and common areas Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere throughout the Kroc Center What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior customer service experience is a plus, but enthusiastic beginners are welcome Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a busy environment Proactive, responsible, and dependable approach to work Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to safety or facility needs Physical & Working Conditions Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Regular bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting equipment or supplies (up to 45lbs) Work performed in an active community center environment with varying noise levels May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fitness equipment, and high-traffic activity areas Employee Benefits & Perks We believe meaningful work should also be rewarding.
