Job Description

The Guest Services Concierge contributes to a great patient experience by providing non-medical care. The Guest Services Concierge will provide a warm, welcoming first impression by providing assistance to all patients and visitors who enter the department. They will facilitate continuous communication with patients, families, team members and Access Care Staff to improve and expedite patient and family centered care. The Guest Services Concierge will recognize potential crisis situations, advocate for security involvement when needed, and act as a liaison between guests and clinical team members. This front-facing role is ideal for entry-level administrative (non-clinical) professionals passionate about customer service in a healthcare setting.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in telephone etiquette.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Greet visitors and provide a welcoming first impression to patients, families, and guests.
  • Answer phones and respond to general/basic questions from callers.
  • Give directions and assist with navigation within the facility.
  • Provide customer or guest services in person or over the phone, including forwarding-facing patient interactions.
  • Recognize potential crisis situations and liaise with security or clinical teams as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between guests, team members, and Access Care Staff to enhance patient-centered care.
  • Perform minimal administrative duties as required.
