Job Purpose:
The Concierge provides outstanding service by assisting residents and guests with personal requests, information, and convenience services. This role combines front desk duties, including answering phones, managing inquiries, and coordinating resident services, with hospitality support to ensure an exceptional living experience. The Concierge may also provide valet services and delivers packages to residents in a timely and courteous manner. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, and supporting residents' daily comfort and convenience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Resident Services:
Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner. Answer phones, direct calls, and respond promptly to resident and family inquiries. Provide information and assistance regarding community services, amenities, and local resources. Manage front desk operations, including visitor check-in, package handling, and recordkeeping. Deliver packages, mail, and other items to residents efficiently and courteously. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations. Direct Emergency Personnel coming into the building. Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies. Ensure copy machines and faxes have paper and are ready for use.
Hospitality & Valet Services:
Assist with valet services, including safely parking, retrieving, and delivering vehicles. Use Cubigo to manage and track valet requests efficiently. Support residents and guests with carrying luggage, packages, or groceries as needed. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of the lobby, entryways, and valet areas. Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Respond promptly to special requests and anticipate resident needs whenever possible. Uphold safety standards, including proper vehicle handling and adherence to traffic and parking regulations. Applies "5 Star" customer service approach in all aspects of job. Actively supports Wingate's commitment to providing "5 Star" service on all quality objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 1 year of relevant experience and/or training preferred. Prior experience in hospitality, senior living, concierge, or customer service preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Strong commitment to providing outstanding service to residents, families, and visitors. Strong organizational skills required. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other software programs. Compensation:
$23 per hour
