Job Description

About the Role We're a growing plastic surgery and wellness practice in Chevy Chase, and we're looking for a Front Desk Concierge to be the welcoming face of our practice at the front desk. This is a front desk role done with care. You'll be the person who greets patients when they arrive, checks them in, gets them settled, and makes sure their visit goes smoothly from start to finish. You'll also be the friendly expert at our skincare bar, helping patients with product questions and recommendations. We're a medical practice, but we care a lot about the experience side of things — the space, the small touches, how patients feel when they're here. We're also in the middle of building out a new, state-of-the-art location, and this hire will play a real role in shaping how that next chapter feels for our patients. What You Will Be Responsible For Welcome and Check In Patients Greet patients warmly when they arrive and get them comfortably settled Offer beverages and make sure they have what they need while they wait Hand off smoothly to the clinical team and keep the visit flowing Care for the Space Keep the lobby, lounge, and skincare bar clean, tidy, and presentable throughout the day Restock and reset between patients so the space always looks intentional Notice when something's off — a flickering light, a smudged mirror, an empty water pitcher — and handle it before anyone has to ask Skincare Bar Learn our skincare lines well enough to be genuinely helpful (we'll train you) Answer patient questions, make recommendations, and assist with purchases Keep displays, testers, and inventory organized and looking great Support the Patient Experience Be the primary in-person point of contact during each patient's visit Anticipate needs and personalize the experience where you can Help with patient follow-up — quick messages, check-ins, or warm outreach as needed Assist with scheduling tasks, visit prep, phone coverage, and behind-the-scenes coordination as needed Who This Role Is For Someone with 2+ years in hospitality, high-end retail, customer service, or a role where people skills really mattered Someone naturally warm, polished, and put-together — the kind of person who makes others feel at ease Someone detail-oriented and proud of their work Someone comfortable being on their feet and engaged throughout the day Experience in aesthetics is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person. Benefits We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Professional growth and development opportunities Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00
PM Pay:
$23.00 per hour

Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Imagine a patient arrives at our practice for their first consultation, looking visibly nervous and a little overwhelmed. What would you do in the first 60 seconds to make them feel at ease? Be specific. When you walk into a hotel, boutique, or restaurant that feels truly well-run, what kinds of details do you notice? Give us a real example of a place that impressed you and what stood out. Tell us about a time you went out of your way to take care of someone — at work, with a customer, or even in your personal life. What did you do, and why did it matter to you? What attracted you to this role specifically, not just any front desk job, but this one at our plastic surgery practice? Please be honest.
