This position typically starts at $20 per hour and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. This job puts you right in the heart of the action, where you're the first friendly face guests meet and the steady presence that keeps the VooDoo Lounge buzzing safely and smoothly. You'll use sharp awareness and confident decision‑making to manage crowds, spot issues before they escalate, and maintain an exciting but controlled atmosphere. Every shift brings a mix of guest interaction, problem‑solving, and real responsibility—from monitoring IDs to applying first aid when it truly matters. It's a fast‑paced role where your professionalism, energy, and people skills directly shape the guest experience and the vibe of the entire venue. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready‑to‑learn attitude. Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture. Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be at least 18 yrs. of age. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management. Must pass the required background check. RepAbility to work in a loud, fast‑paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Able to walk, work and stand, inside and outside, occasionally in heat in excess of 115 degrees or cold in excess of 10 degrees. Able to physically restrain adults in excess of 200 pounds. Able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations. Able to work independently. Able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds. Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds. Able to respond to visual and aural cues. Able to speak, read and understand English. Able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons. Must be able to make rational decisions when handling guests and employees.
