Job Skills Ability to improvise and proactively assist in client requests or firm tasks in a professional work environment Careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable, correct results are needed Strong attention to detail and above-average organizational skills High communication skills (verbal, written, and presentational) Patient and conscientious Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide office support, including answering telephones, assisting clients, and resolving and/or referring problems or inquiries to a higher level Assist Relationship Managers with various troubleshooting and answer client questions Serve as back-up to Relationship Managers, with potential to onboard and service clients, including opening accounts and liaising to sign paperwork Manage office calendar and meetings for financial planners Serve as a liaison with other functional areas and vendors for routine office maintenance Anticipates client needs, solves problems, and follows through with exceptional service Knowledge/Requirements 1-2 years of administrative experience, college degree preferred Strong technology skills are required; the office uses Windows, Microsoft Office, and Canva Uphold a professional image with external and internal business contacts Work ethically and with integrity, including maintaining client and firm confidentiality Working Conditions Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours; travel not required Tasks closely governed by policies and procedures in a professional work environment Full-time hours are Monday through Friday (8 am
- 5 pm) with a one-hour lunch break.
When hosting events/workshops, hours may be extended, as necessary. Benefits Starting wages depend on experience Opportunity for quarterly incentive bonus pay (eligible at 6 months of employment, based on firm/team goals and individual satisfactory performance) 15 days a year of personal time off (includes sick, personal, and vacation leave). - A health insurance plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield, with a low deductible. The firm covers 75% of the monthly premium on behalf of the employee, and the insurance plan is also accompanied by a $15,000 life insurance policy. After 1 year of employment
- Profit Sharing Plan/401K retirement plan, with employer match. The firm will match up to 4% of the employee's annual compensation, contingent on the employee contributing, as well. After 1 year of employment
- Group short-term and long-term disability insurance offered through FSI, which is accompanied by a $50,000 life insurance policy.
The firm covers the annual FSI membership on behalf of the employee, while the employee is responsible for the monthly premium (so that disability benefits would be received tax-free).
