  • Part-time Sonny's Tavern is looking for a reliable, professional, and personable Door Person / Security team member to help create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, observant, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced nightlife environment. $75 flat fee plus tips Responsibilities Check IDs and verify legal age for entry and alcohol service Monitor guest flow and maintain a safe atmosphere Help de-escalate situations professionally and respectfully Enforce house policies and support staff when needed Maintain awareness of guest behavior and overall bar safety Communicate with bartenders, servers, and management throughout service Assist with bar closing duties and end-of-night cleanup support Help ensure guests exit safely and respectfully at closing time Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations Reliable transportation and weekend/night availability Previous security, bar, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Must be 21+ years old Schedule Primarily evening and late-night shifts, including weekends.
