Job Description

We are seeking professional, discreet, and experienced Event Security Officers to support our wedding and private event operations. This is a per-event position with approximately 50 events per season (May-October), primarily Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Event dates are scheduled well in advance.
Compensation:
$200-$300 per event based on experience and qualifications. About the Role Our venue hosts elegant wedding celebrations and private events. We are looking for a security professional who understands that presence, discretion, and calm professionalism are essential. This is not a nightclub environment. The ideal candidate maintains a low profile while ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property. Responsibilities Monitor guest entry and overall event environment Ensure compliance with venue policies and alcohol service standards De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally Coordinate with venue management during emergencies Oversee safe guest departure at event conclusion Protect venue property and maintain order without disrupting guest experience Qualifications Prior experience in event, hospitality, or private security Valid state security guard license (or equivalent required certification) Current background check clearance CPR and First Aid certification preferred Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Professional appearance and composed demeanor Ability to remain calm under pressure Ideal Candidate Traits Discreet and observant Professional but approachable Not reactive or confrontational Comfortable working in formal wedding environments Reliable and punctual Schedule Approximately 50 seasonal events (May-October) Friday-Sunday events Dates provided well in advance If you are a dependable security professional who understands the balance between safety and hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
